“unearthing erotic genius”
I found the work of modernist author, poet and photographer rut hillarp (1914-2003) while researching erotic literature for readux books’ swedish series, and she quickly became one of my literary passions. History has favored the memory of her male contemporaries, and through my translations i’m hoping to bring her work – which explores the difficulty of being an independent woman in a man’s world – to a new generation of readers.
